Daniel James - The Stone and the Hollow EP

We've just put the finishing touches to the debut EP by Daniel James a singer-songwriter from Northern Ireland. Daniel is being hotly tipped for great things in the near future with major labels in conversation with him & not surprising!

We went to see him at the opening show of the tour supporting Nina Nesbitt in Brighton & he was awesome! A commanding performance indeed and really raw stomp boxing live versions of his tunes which sets him up to be a major player for the future. Superb in the studio, even better live (as it should be!).

Check him out here:

The EP is only going to be available at the shows on the tour so get down to see him if at all possible, you will not be disappointed.

Rise Above Records - New Website

We were approached by Rise Above Records to look at  re-designing their website with a complete overhaul on the back-end & all important store so we teamed up with our good friends xiiixiii to give them what they wanted.

They had encountered problems with their old site & were having issue with the huge surges in users that occur when they announce new releases. Such has been the demand that  the outdated site simply couldn't cope so it was time for a complete change.

The new site looks great, is more intuitive, easier to navigate and more in tune to dealing with the fan base & the volume of users.

Rise Above Records was founded in 1988 by then Napalm Death vocalist Lee Dorrian with the decleration... "We only release interesting realeses by bands that we actually like!"

The site is still being populated by the label (they have quite a back catalogue) but check it out - If you like your rock they have some amazing acts. Electric Wizard, Uncle Acid.....

EVENU - The Avenue EP

After seeing our work with the likes of Lower Than Atlantis & Elbow, Evenu approached us to work on the debut EP artwork on their behalf.

They invited us down to Exeter to check them out at their debut show, we were seriously taken taken aback by how good they were at such a tender young age and immediately took up the opportunity work with them.
After discussing options we decided the image needed to represent the epic, expansive landscape of the band's sound so what better than one of the peaks adjacent to the Mer de Glace glacier in the French Alps (with a spot of tweaking obviously).

Plans are in place for more releases / dates soon so watch this space.

Meanwhile here's a link to the recent video to 'Own Way Home'

RODNEY P - 'Success' Featuring Harleighblu & Renegade Brass Band

Having recently had the privilage of working on the deluxe London Posse 'Ganster Chronicles' it was a pleasure to work with Rodney again, a true gent!
After initial discussions to ascertain the desired end result (an urban environment feel but with a positive summer vibe) we saw this great cover shot by Brighton based photographer Josh Raikes and were unanimous in our decision.
“Success” is a brass-heavy, R‘n’B-inflected hip hop cut with all the hallmarks of a future classic. One of a handful of collaborative endeavours between the revered London Posse rapper Rodney P and the young, up and coming soul singer Harleighblu. More to follow but meanwhile you can download from here...
